Cameron Diaz covers SELF's February 2014 issue, revealing her tips for staying healthy and fit. For someone who is known for her passion to work out, it might be surprising that she only found her love for it in her mid-20s. "I fell into fitness by accident," she says.

She jokes about the crazy foods she used to eat when she was younger, and says "I want women to know that it's never too late to start paying attention to their bodies." She dishes about her workout plan and explains that it's essential to work out even if you only have fifteen minutes to do so. Every bit counts -- for your body and mind.

When asked what she would tell younger women growing up now in Hollywood, she says "If the tabloids were what they are now when I was 22, I would not have a career." A refreshing point of view from someone who has lived in the spotlight -- because everyone makes mistakes. Those of us on the outside looking in are quick to judge, but we have to remember that it's not easy to have cameras on you 24/7, especially when you're a kid.
