Carmen Electra's Style Transformation
Believe it or not, Carmen Electra is not her birth name (we know, shocking), it was actually Tara Leigh Patrick. She grew up in Ohio but moved to L.A. to pursue a music career. She signed a record contract with Paisley Park Records in 1991, and its owner, Prince, encouraged her to change her name.
Aside from music, Carmen posed as a model for Playboy several times before replacing Pamela Anderson on "Baywatch" in 1997. Later that year, she was cast as the host of MTV's "Singled Out," but is best known for the headlines she made off the screen. She's had romantic ties to rockers Tommy Lee and Fred Durst, and was married to Dennis Rodman for a brief time.
In 2003, she married Dave Navarro, and co-starred with him on an MTV reality show, "Carmen and Dave: An MTV Love Story." The couple divorced in 2007. Carmen has appeared in numerous movies, namely spoofs such as "Scary Movie," "Meet the Spartans," "Date Movie."
As far as Carmen's style is concerned, it's definitely transformed over the years. What started as tight, skin-baring and short has become a sleeker, more modern and streamlined style. She still manages to show some leg and cleavage here and there, but it's apparent that years in entertainment industry have raised the caliber of her style.
