Bedazzled sneakers, fanny packs, knee and elbow pads... Karl Lagerfeld took sporty chic to a whole new level with Chanel's Spring 2014 Couture show. The models reportedly sprinted down one of two long, sweeping staircases (thankfully in sneaks!) showing off this year's silhouette -- bolero tops over tightly corset-ed torsos and short skirts.

Yes, you read that correctly -- while the models' feet were given a break, their waists were tightly bound in corsets! We wonder what Coco would think of this, considering she was one of the proponents of losing corsets in the early 20th century. She famously said "luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it's not luxury." But hey, we don't think she'd mind if she saw how fun and flirty the Spring '14 collection is.

Oh, and one very important thing to note about the show's sneakers? They reportedly took 30 hours to make each pair, and will run up a tab of 3,000 euros each!
