FUR COLLARS
If you're like us and growing tired of your faux-fur vest, but simply can't give up on the trend, we suggest turning to the more subtle fur collar for this upcoming winter season. A great faux-fur is the perfect adornment for an otherwise simple coat or jacket.

TURTLENECKS
This classic style is making a serious comeback for fall. Wear yours as a chunky knit, or a thin layer under a dress or sweater. Either way, a turtleneck will be essential to your wardrobe.

SLITS
The most refreshing theme at New York Fashion Week was the multitude of slits we spotted on skirts and dresses. Sensible long and midi-length skirts were made sexy again with a up-to-there slits down the middle and up the sides. You'll be hard-pressed to find a basic skirt this fall - slits are it.

WHITE
Ladies, throw the rulebook aside. There's nothing more fresh in winter than a crisp pair of white corduroys or a cream cable-knit sweater. This winter, prepare to match your outfits with your surroundings, and bundle up in various shades of white.
