TURTLENECKS
3.1 Phillip Lim Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2013
Pair this classic style with a menswear inspired pea coat, and you'll be Ali MacGraw straight out of Love Story. We love a good turtleneck, either as a thin layering piece, or in chunky knit form. The designers loved it this season too, as they've been all over the runways since Day 1 of NYFW!

ALL THE ESSENTIAL NY FASHION WEEK COVERAGE - MAKE THE BEST LOOKS YOURS
We're halfway through New York Fashion Week, and we still can't stop obsessing over all the fall fabrics (leather! tweed!) and autumnal hues we're seeing at the show. Move over spring - we're ready to skip straight to October.
Speaking of October, what would fall be without a great coat? We've already discussed the varsity jackets that were rampant on the runways earlier in the week. Today, menswear inspired looks were all over, especially at Belstaff and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Fur and faux fur continued to dominate as well, but we've noticed a shift towards bolder colors and patterns.
Possibly the biggest trend of the day was the turtleneck, another theme we've been seeing all week. We spotted the classic style everywhere from Donna Karan to Phillip Lim to Carolina Herrera.
We've gathered all our favorite looks from today and compiled them here. Click through the gallery to see what's trending!
