If you're a frequent viewer of the annual Grammy Awards, you know that the stars who attend lean more towards daring and bold looks than modest ones. But this year the tables are turning!
We all remember when Janet Jackson had a nip slip at the halftime performance of the Super Bowl in 2004 on CBS, and the network was fined $550,000 for the controversy. Needless to say, they don't want to deal with that issue again! CBS has released a statement to the show's attendees barring them from wearing overly sexual or revealing outfits to the show on February 10th.
Deadline accessed the email that was sent out, and it read "please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic." The email continued to ask attendees to "please avoid sheer see-through clothing" and to avoid "any organized cause visibly spelled out on talent's wardrobe" as well.
With a tendency towards the risque, we can't help but wonder what some of the more daring stars will wear this year! We took a look back at some of the riskiest Grammy fashion choices of all time. You won't believe what Toni Braxton wore in 2001! There are high hemlines and low necklines, with plenty of sheer in between.
We can't wait to see what everyone is wearing on the 10th, but for now, take a look at some of the outfits from years past that we know wouldn't fly at this year's Grammy Awards!
