Sandra Bullock graces the cover of Vogue October for her fifth, count them, fifth time. She's sparkles in Marc Jacobs and exposes her back with her hair pulled up. The shoot was inspired by her movie Gravity, in which she plays an astronaut who, in essence, gets lost in space. So we totally get the futuristic vibe going on.

She tells Vogue about her paralyzing fear of flying, and how the prospect of filming Gravity absolutely terrified her. She had to work with Director Alfonso Cuarón, though, she just had to, so she signed on for the film. She also explains why she's not on Twitter ("I don't want anyone to know where I am"), why she loves living in Austin, Texas where she owns two restaurants, and how everything in her life revolves around one little man: her son Louis.

Bullock is a refreshing cover star to see, as she's not only one of the biggest female movie stars, but also fiercely determined to be a good mom and protect her son. She doesn't want what she does to impact Louis. She says: "I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I'm doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska."
