If there's one guilty pleasure the whole Lifestyle Mirror office loves to gush over, it's celebrity wedding photos. From the beautiful wedding dresses to the secret locales, famous guests and idyllic settings-they can seem like something out of a fairytale. And in some cases, like the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, it really was. From royals to models, fashion editors and actresses, we gathered 50 of the most stunning and inspiring gowns of the past 65 years. Starting with Elizabeth Taylor in 1950 and ending with designer Erin Fetherston in 2013-this is some serious bridal eye candy.

As we combed through hundreds of images old and new, searching for the most beautiful wedding dresses, we came across quite a few surprises. Did you know that Sarah Jessica Parker wore a black dress to marry Matthew Broderick in 1997? Apparently she did it to avoid speculation if she were spotted by the press, and it made for quite a memorable look. Coco Rocha's stunning gown was created just for her by friend and fashion designer Zac Posen for her 2010 wedding to James Conran. Same goes for Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's bias-cut silk dress, designed by then-unknown designer Narciso Rodriguez.

See all 50 of our picks, including Audrey Hepburn, Nicole Richie, Cindy Crawford, Gwen Stefani and Grace Kelly in the gallery above.
