Designer Prabal Gurung bucked tradition by showing his newest Spring 2014 collection at Moynihan Station. The show began with the entire collection worn by models with slicked back hair and ear cuffs standing behind a clear, plastic curtain. After several flashing light bulbs, the models began their walk around the runway beginning with white ensembles, transitioning to muted pastels, and ending with lavish black and white gowns with red detailing.

With PVC raincoats, satin sweetheart 'wiggle' dresses, and pink technical bonded satin tulip shirts the entire collection had an air of distorted femininity.
