Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, proved very early on that she was ready for the spotlight! In this clip (which, hello! Where has it been all this time?!) we see Kate starring as Eliza Doolittle in St. Andrews School's 1993 production of My Fair Lady.

The now-Duchess and soon-to-be Queen garners laughs from the crowd as she speaks in Eliza's classic Cockney accent. She plays alongside Andrew Alexander (apparently Kate's first schoolgirl crush!), who grew up to act professionally, starring in this season of Downton Abbey. It's said that Kate initially struggled with the Cockney accent, but "took to being a lady" quite easily. And we'd expect nothing less from Kate!
